How To Get Abs

There are two things you have to do if you’re thinking about how to get abs. Firstly you have to remove any fat that covers your abs so the world can see them. Secondly you have to exercise your abs so that the muscles are damaged and then they can rebuild bigger and stronger.
If your abs has a layer of fat over the top then you need to find a way to lose weight. The simplest explanation to explain how to do it is that your energy output (exercise) has to be greater than your energy input (food and drink). That’s it, that’s all you have to do. There are thousands of ways to lose weight and there are thousands of programs you can choose.

The second thing to do is to exercise the abs. The aim is to damage the abs by doing stressful resistance training. When a muscle is damaged it needs to repair and because it remembers what you did to it the muscle grows back bigger so it’s ready for when you do it again. They heal quickly too so you can work them harder and more often, preferably three days a week.
A tip to getting bigger abs is to add variety to your routine. If the exercise program is the same each time the muscle soon becomes accustomed to the work out and remains at the perfect size to deal with the familiar routine. Throw in a surprise exercise and you will shock and damage the muscle into growing again.
How to get abs is not by losing weight only. Resistance training has to occur too. The reason is when the body needs fuel for everyday activities so it uses the fat stored in the cells as a source of energy. When there is none left and the body needs more fuel it takes it from the next available source which is the muscles. Therefore abs don’t just appear by losing all your weight, you have to create them by building the muscle and feeding the body so it doesn’t use the muscle as fuel.
