How To Get Flat Abs
Lots of fitness professionals use F.I.T.T (frequency, intensity, type and time) as their base for working out any fitness program. F.I.T.T can take your dreams to a six pack reality. This is a breakdown of F.I.T.T and how you can get it to work for you in achieving that great six pack.Frequency - Whatever type of workout you do will have your muscles going through the rebuilding, repairing and replenishing their energy sources. When you are deciding on the frequency of your work-outs you need to be able to push your body to the point that it can adapt, and then allow yourself time for your body to repair and replenish. All exercises have their own best and most effective level of frequency. Abdominal exercises are often most effective if they are done 4 or 5 times a week, giving yourself a day of rest between times.
Intensity - This is the second part in F.I.T.T, and means how hard you are pushing your body in a particular work-out routine. You need to have a balance between giving it all your body can produce, and making sure you have time for your body to rest and replenish.
Time - Is the third part of F.I.T.T. How long should you exercise for? The best way of working this one out is to monitor your heart rate. If you are a beginner to exercising, you should try and keep your heart rate around average for thirty to forty five minutes a minimum of 3 times a week.
Type - The last part in the rule of FITT. This is focusing on the type of exercise you choose to do. For example if you are aiming to get great flat abs, you would look at sit-ups, crunches, or even some yoga that can work your mid-section.
